The Heart behind the movement

MEET MEAGHAN

Meaghan Colleen (aka Muscle Meg) is a holistic fitness coach with over 15 years of experience, specializing in pre and postnatal movement alongside a wide range

of training modalities. She believes movement is

medicine—not only for healing the body, but for supporting overall health when combined with education, nourishing lifestyle practices, and healthy stress management.

Her passion for fitness began at 17, when she stepped away from dance and discovered a deeper connection to movement as a tool for longevity and wellbeing. Over time, her work expanded beyond one-on-one coaching into workshops, education, and community-based movement. Park Pilates was created as a home for all of it. A safe space where movement, learning, and connection could live together.

THE HEART BEHIND THE MOVEMENT

What began as personal practice and teaching evolved into a neighborhood-centered studio offering group classes, private sessions, workshops, retreats, and holistic coaching, both in person and online.

Along the way, Megan has created and led a yoga and mindfulness program within the DOE, while teaching classes, private sessions, and community workshops centered on women’s hormones and overall health. This work laid the groundwork for Park Pilates.

 

Beyond the studio, Megan hosts wellness retreats and is an active voice within the wellness community, speaking at events and leading workshops that create space for women to reconnect, learn, and feel empowered in their bodies. These experiences extend the Park Pilates philosophy beyond the mat and into everyday life.
